La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed. Each of our Groups meets monthly. All breastfeeding mothers and pregnant women interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our free meetings or call our Leaders for breastfeeding help.
La Leche League of the Palos Verdes Peninsula and Neighbors Chapter offers support and information through:

  • Mother-to-Mother support
  • Monthly meetings
  • Telephone help from accredited Leaders
  • Lending library with books on childbirth, breastfeeding and related subjects
  • Sales of The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding, or other items

All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding help or information. Babies are always welcome at our meetings. Please call the PVP Information Line (310) 373-4135 for meeting locations and Leaders available by telephone for breastfeeding information, encouragement and support for breastfeeding mothers. Membership dues are $40 annually, which benefit La Leche League around the world and locally in helping gather and share breastfeeding information.

Palos Verdes Peninsula First Thursday of the month, 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis Episcopal Church. 2200 Via Rosa, Palos Verdes Estates.

We also have a toddler meeting on the third Thurday of every month at Alta Loma Park located at 26126 Delos Drive, Torrance, 90503.  We will meet on the fourth Thursday in the event of rain.

Redondo BeachWe are now meeting at Beach Cities Health District located at 514 Prospect Avenue between Diamond and Beryl streets.  We will be meeting downstairs in the meeting rooms.

Our daytime meeting meets on the second Friday of every month at 10am.

Our evening meeting is on the third Monday of every month at 7pm.

We have a park days on different days of the week. Please come to a meeting or call to get on the email list to find out about upcoming events.
